Welcome
to
New Millennium Enterprises
Our
Building
Process Overview
Our
building process is designed
to make your experience as simple
and informative as possible.
Our staff is here to answer
your questions. We offer constant
communication throughout the
process and provide you with
as much information as you require.
The following information is
a quick reference of our process.
These items are explained in
detail once you’ve
received your “New
Home Buyers Guide, Warrantee
and Maintenance Booklet.
- Choose
your New Home from one of our
pre-designed packages or contact
us for a preliminary Custom
Design of your new home. Our
Sales specialist is ready to
answer all your questions and
start the process towards your
new home. Browse our website
for more information.
- Getting
Pre-Approved is quick and
easy
when you visit the BB&T
web link on our financial
page.
- Arrange
an appointment to discuss
our
purchase agreement. Once you’ve
signed a contract and we
collect
your deposit we can arrange
for your Personal Design
Appointment
at our Design Center. Also
at this time, you will receive
your log-in code and a New
Homeowners
Guide. This guide is essential
in explaining the entire
process
in detail. We now begin pre-permitting
in order to expedite the
construction
of your New Home. The permitting
process takes approximately
60 days from your signature
approving the final design.
- Our
Design Center is where you
can
view actual items we will
be
installing. Here you will
make
all your color choices, special
feature requests and design
changes. A Design Center appointment
will take approximately 2
to
4 hours so dress comfortably
and enjoy your visit. The
Design
Center is open at specific
times
and you may browse as long
as
you like. For special contract
and/or construction related
requests,
appointments are necessary.
Under most circumstances we
will
not proceed with the actual
construction
until we have your approval
on Plan design, Colors, Selections
and Features. The exceptions
would involve our Designer
III
series homes.
- The
Pre-Construction Start Orientation is to confirm that all Design
changes and Additions to the
plans, Color selections, Special
features and Site specific
items
etc…have
been made and received by
your
Project Manager and Sales
Associate.
Wear your jeans and sneakers
since you will be walking
on
your New Home site. Sign
off
on all items and construction
should begin within 3 to
5 days.
- The
Pre-Insulation Start Orientation gives you an opportunity to
meet with your Project Manager
at your New Home. This milestone
is your chance to confirm
actual
placement of all items and
plan
changes. Under most circumstances
you may stay and look around
as long as you like. Some
additions
are still available at this
point excluding
structural changes.
Sign off on all items and
Interior
finishes begin. You will be
contacted shortly after this
meeting to discuss and assemble
Pre-Closing documents and
submit
payment for additional items
and upgrades which are not
considered
part of the contract. Once
the
remaining funds are collected,
the Final Closing date is
set.
You can expect to close approximately
30 to 60 days from this point.
Depending upon your Plan,
the
Features chosen, the Location
of the property or other developments,
this time may be longer.
- The
Pre-Completion Orientation is
when your New Home is considered
Substantially Completed. All
items are installed but may
still require minor adjustments.
Now you will receive your
New
Home Warrantee and Maintenance
Booklet which explains the
care
and maintenance your New Home.
Your Project Manager will
orientate
you with your New Home during
a room by room inspection.
All
mechanical functions and features
will be explained and your
comments
are logged and revisited at
the Final Walk.
- The
Pre-Closing Orientation gives
you an opportunity to see
your
New Home fully completed and
ready for your Decorations.
Taking possession of your
New
Home is within hours! Make
sure
you have all your documents
ready for closing.
- 45
day Post Close inspection.
- 1-Year
Warranty review.
